Immunity Boosting Protein Smoothie

I love to support my immune system with immunity boosting, anti inflammatory foods throughout the winter season rather than scrambling for supplements as soon as i feel a tickle in my throat. Although I do love my all natural cold remedies too!

Some of my favorite foods that boost immunity are:

- citrus fruits

- berries

- turmeric and other herbs + spices

- dark leafy greens

For the smoothie

In your blender, add:

- banana

- frozen mango

- half an orange + orange peel zest

- turmeric (powdered or part of a fresh root)

- coconut water

- coconut milk

- vanilla collagen (I use Further Food: code abbyh15 for a discount) or sub plant based protein
