Apple Pie Chia Pudding Parfait
GLUTEN FREE | DAIRY FREE | REFINED SUGAR FREE | MEAL PREP
Chia seeds are one of the best foods for improving gut health and digestion!
Here are a few reasons why I love them:
Promotes Healthy Digestion: The soluble fiber in chia seeds absorbs water, forming a gel-like substance in the digestive system that helps regulate bowel movements and prevent constipation
Feeds Beneficial Gut Bacteria: The fiber in chia seeds acts as a prebiotic, meaning it provides food for the good bacteria in the gut, supporting a balanced microbiome.
Soothes Inflammation: omega-3 fatty acids found in chia seeds have anti-inflammatory properties, which may help reduce inflammation in the digestive tract, promoting a healthier gut lining. ️
Improves Satiety: By promoting a feeling of fullness, chia seeds can help prevent overeating and support healthy digestion.
