Baked Honey Pears
gluten free I dairy free I refined sugar free
Ingredients
2-4 ripe pears
1 tablespoon of Grass fed butter
2 tablespoons of honey
1/4 cup of walnuts
1/4 cup of pecans
Cinnamon
Addiontal toppings: Coconut yogurt, greek yogurt or ice cream Pomegrante seeds
Method:
Preheat over to 375. Prep a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice your pears in half. Slice a small piece off the back of each half so the pears lay flat.
Scoop out the seeds and make a hole in the center.
Add a bit of butter (about 1/2 - 1 tsp) in each pear, a drizzle of honey, chopped nuts, and lots of cinnamon.
Bake for 25-30 minutes. Until pears are soft. Spoon some of the butter and honey mixture from the center of each pear onto the edges. Serve with yogurt or ice cream and pomegranate Seeds
