Chocolate Cranberry Granola

THE RECIPE

Ingredients 

1 cup gluten free oats

1.5 cups roasted and chopped nuts (I used walnuts, pecans and almonds)

¼ cup coconut sugar

1 tablespoon cacao powder

1 scoop @gainful protein

1 tablespoon of flax meal 

½ cup dried cranberries

1 cup creamy nut butter (If you’re nut butter is not creamy, melt it down and add coconut oil. I used ½ cup almond butter and ½ cup coconut oil melted)

Method

Preheat oven to 350

If the chopped nuts are not already roasted, put them on a pan with parchment paper. Place them in The oven for 8 minutes.

Once the chopped nuts are roasted, add all the ingredients except nut butter into a large bowl. Mix together until evenly coated with fiber and protein powder. Mix into the nut butter until all the ingredients are evenly coated.

Place granola mixture on a pan with parchment paper. Put in the oven for 10 minutes. Let cool. Enjoy on top of your favorite smoothie, oats, yogurt bowl or eat as is.
