Homemade Almond Milk

GLUTEN FREE | DAIRY FREE | VEGAN | VEGETARIAN

When shopping for nut and seed milks, I always look for a milk free of oils, added sugars, gums and unnecessary additives. All those extra ingredients can be harmful to our guts. It can be difficult to find milks with such clean ingredients. So I love to make my own! 

THE RECIPE

In your blender, add 2 cups soaked almonds and 4 cups filtered water. Add a pinch of sea salt, dash of vanilla extract and a dash of maple syrup. 


Blend thoroughly. Strain with a strainer or cheese cloth. I did a double strain since I didn’t have cheese cloth.
